ArtPiano Presentation in the University Hall: Music That Speaks to Everyone

An ArtPiano has been installed in the hall of Karazin University. Talented Karazin students and guests performed musical pieces for the audience at the presentation, which was attended by Rector Tetyana Kaganovska, Vice-Rectors Anton Panteleimonov and Anatolii Babychev, deans, professors, and university staff.
The instrument appeared at the university as part of the artistic strategy of the KharkivMusicFest International Classical Music Festival, thanks to the initiative of Tetiana Bohatyriova, conductor of the Karazin Orchestra. Previously, Kharkiv residents had seen such pianos installed in metro stations, parks, and shopping malls. Each ArtPiano is unique in its design and adds cultural identity to the urban space, creating a vibrant dialogue between art and the community.
The instrument is open for public use — a platform for various cultural events as well as spontaneous performances by Karazin’s special guests. It offers the university community a chance to organize their own musical events or simply play music for themselves at any time.
Tetiana Bohatyriova shared her thoughts:
"I’m very glad that we managed to implement this project because it will engage society with musical culture and make it more accessible."
Throughout its 220-year history, Karazin University has always nurtured culture and musical art, recognizing them as an essential part of personal development. We are proud to continue the tradition of free expression, uniting generations through creativity.
