University Representative Marina Hryhorieva Visited Istanbul Gelişim University as Part of the Erasmus+ Program

During the working week from May 12 to 16, 2025, Marina Hryhorieva, Assistant to the Rector of Karazin University, participated in a mobility program under Erasmus+ at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU).
The program included a working meeting with experts from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, familiarization with the experience of the International Student Office, a presentation on IGU’s international activities, exchange of experience and ideas regarding university representation in international academic rankings, as well as activities aimed at achieving the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, Ms. Hryhorieva delivered a presentation highlighting the key areas of Karazin University’s work during the full-scale phase of the war.
Background: Istanbul Gelişim University is a young private Turkish university. Founded in 2008, it currently offers over 60 programs accredited by international agencies such as AQAS, ABET, and ADEE. The university has more than 40,000 students, including over 7,000 international students from 110 countries worldwide.
