Representative of Karazin University Delivered Lectures at the University of Passau

From 5 to 8 November 2025, Olha Vovk, Deputy Director of the Petro Tronko Center for Ukrainian Studies and Local History and lecturer at the Department of Historiography, Source Studies, and Archaeology of the School of History, visited the University of Passau (Germany) within the framework of the existing cooperation memorandum.

The university representative gave two lectures:
• “Life in Kharkiv during the Russian–Ukrainian War”
• “Vasyl Karazin: A Prominent Educator and Scholar (Ukrainian Academic and Public Thought in the European Context)”

There was also a discussion of possible directions for further cooperation between Ukrainian and German historians and local history researchers in academic and educational fields.
