Karazin University Representatives Visited the University of Messina (Italy)

From June 30 to July 4, 2025, representatives of Karazin University participated in a training visit to the University of Messina (Italy) within the framework of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training program.

Karazin University was represented by Roman Nesterenko, Deputy Head of the International Relations Office, and Professor Maryna Vasylieva, Deputy Director of the Education and Research Institute of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy.

The aim of the program was to enhance knowledge of international practices in administrative processes and Erasmus+ program management, strengthen intercultural communication skills, foster collaboration and problem-solving in an international context, expand professional networks, promote future cooperation opportunities, implement improved administrative practices based on the host institution’s experience, and strengthen institutional ties between Karazin University and the University of Messina.

Participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and best practices in the field of international cooperation, gain practical skills necessary for implementing university internationalization strategies, and interact with colleagues in a multicultural group to support personal and professional development.

We look forward to further deepening cooperation and building new partnerships with the host institution in the areas of international agreement development and the search for new project opportunities in relevant fields.

These activities align with the strategic goals of both institutions in terms of modernization and internationalization.
