The representatives from Karazin University include Professor Maryna Vasylieva, Deputy Director of the Education and Scientific Institute "Ukrainian Engineering-Pedagogical Academy," and Roman Nesterenko, Deputy Head of the International Relations Department. Both have been selected as members of the working group for the implementation of the International Ukrainian-Estonian project titled "Integration of Entrepreneurial Education into Ukraine's Vocational Education System," which was launched on February 19, 2025, with the support of the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV).

The project's goal is to integrate entrepreneurship education into Ukraine's vocational education system, providing young people with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully compete in the labor market or start their own businesses. The project involves introducing an entrepreneurship course in vocational (vocational-technical) education institutions, based on the Estonian program "Edu ja Tegu," which has already proven its effectiveness. This is not just a series of business lessons but a system that fosters entrepreneurial thinking — the ability to recognize opportunities, approach challenges creatively, and implement ideas.

The project will enable young people to develop their own projects, think creatively, and solve real-life problems.

On March 7, the first online kickoff meeting of the working group took place under the leadership of the Estonian team. The selected members of the Ukrainian working group include representatives from the Directorate of Vocational Education of Ukraine's Ministry of Education and Science, vocational (vocational-technical) education institutions, higher education institutions, regional educational and methodological centers, public organizations, and local government bodies.

Throughout 2025–2026, the group will focus on developing modern educational materials, methodological resources, and recommendations for entrepreneurial education.

These tools will enable Ukrainian vocational education institutions to provide quality entrepreneurial education and become centers of excellence in this field. Sixteen vocational education institutions from Rivne, Lviv, and Zhytomyr regions have already been selected to pilot the project's results.
