The 5th Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ project CRED4TEACH — “MOOC-micro-credentials for Teachers’ Professional Development” took place on November 3–4, 2025, at Luigj Gurakuqi University of Shkodra (Albania).

The event brought together international partners from Germany, Portugal, Turkey, Ukraine, Montenegro, and Albania.

V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was represented by Andrii Lomakin, Associate Professor at the Department of Practical Psychology and Innovative Health Technologies of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy,” and Roman Nesterenko, Deputy Head of the International Relations Office.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the project’s progress, presented the results of the pilot implementation of the MOOC-based micro-credential program, and agreed on the next steps toward the project’s final phase.

Andrii Lomakin presented the main achievements of the project’s working group in developing the university program that awards partial or micro-qualifications — “Effective Online Learning” — leading to the micro-credential “Teacher-Developer of Digital Educational Resources.” He emphasized that the design and delivery of such micro-qualifications represent an innovative approach that fosters the professional growth of diverse groups of educators.

The university representatives participated in two workshops, during which an action plan was developed outlining the next steps to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the project. All partner institutions exchanged practical ideas regarding the development of this plan and the responsibilities to be fulfilled in the upcoming stages of the project.

With the support of the Municipality of Shkodra, the participants also enjoyed visits to the Oso Kuka House-Museum and the Museum of Memory.

Special thanks were extended to the CRED4TEACH coordinators and all project partners for their collaboration and continuous commitment to strengthening joint efforts in promoting innovation and excellence in teacher education.
