Representative of Karazin University, David Kalashnyk, Successfully Competed in the World University Futsal Championship

David Kalashnyk, a higher education student of the Education and Research Institute of Ecology, secured fourth place as part of the Ukrainian national team at the World University Futsal Championship.

In the group stage, the Ukrainian team confidently defeated opponents from New Zealand (9:1), Croatia (9:1), and Mongolia (8:1). In the quarterfinal against Morocco (4:3), David's hat-trick propelled the Ukrainians to the semifinals, where the team lost to Croatia 2:4. In the intense bronze medal match, the Ukrainian team narrowly lost to France (1:2).
