It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Associate Professor Hryhoriy Kurinny from the Department of Theoretical and Applied Informatics, School of Mathematics and Informatics, on May 18, 2024.
Hryhoriy Charlesovych was a mathematician, a highly qualified specialist in the field of algebra and mathematical logic, and an extraordinary person. His entire professional career was connected with the School of Mathematics and Informatics (formerly the School of Mechanics and Mathematics). He actively worked on methodological developments of his courses to pass on his experience to younger lecturers.
We remember Hryhoriy Charlesovych as a brilliant lecturer and teacher, a cheerful and optimistic person, a true patriot of Ukraine, and a promoter of Ukrainian culture.
