With deep sorrow, we announce that on February 19, 2025, Valentyna Onyshchenko, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Karazin University and a Master of Sports in Rhythmic Gymnastics, has passed away.
She dedicated almost her entire professional life to Karazin University, working for over 40 years in the vital role of improving students’ well-being and preparing the university's rhythmic gymnastics teams. She was devoted to her students and the entire university community.
Valentyna Stepanivna shared her extensive experience with young lecturers. She always led an active and healthy lifestyle and, even after retiring, became one of the organizers and the captain of the cheerleading team Nice Ladies.
She was a true professional, a kind and supportive colleague, and a sincere and open-hearted person.
We extend our deepest condolences to Valentyna Stepanivna’s family and loved ones during this time of irreparable loss. Her bright memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
