Professional Development under the Educational Program "School of Pedagogical Innovation" for Karazin University Lecturers

Starting from May 12, 2025, a group of lecturers from selected departments of the School of Philosophy and the School of Law, as well as from the Education and Research Institutes of Computer Physics and Energy, Computer Sciences, and Artificial Intelligence at Karazin University began their professional development courses under the program "School of Pedagogical Innovation."

The objectives of this program, developed under the leadership of the Dean of the School of Psychology, Professor Nadiia Kreidun, are to foster and further enhance a set of professional competencies in participants. These include the innovative use of digital platforms for creating media content and interactive learning experiences, the application of various digital tools for scientific and teaching activities, the creation of a modern motivational educational environment for learning and work, the recognition of the instructor's role in shaping an internal system of educational quality assurance, the acquisition of self-help and psychological first aid methods, and the understanding of the importance and purpose of mental health.

Lectures for participants are integrated with various practical sessions, training exercises, and workshops.

During the introductory session, conducted by Mykhailo Tatarynov, Acting Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning, participants received health and safety instructions in the context of martial law. Special attention was paid to the specifics of conducting the educational process on various digital platforms, and answers were provided to pressing questions regarding the implementation of the program's content.

The professional development course will continue until June 20, 2025.
