Karazin University Signs Memorandum of Cooperation with the University of Western Macedonia

A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the University of Western Macedonia (Greece), aimed at developing international academic and research partnership.

The University of Western Macedonia is known for its strong focus on applied sciences, engineering, energy, sustainable development, ecology, information technologies, and regional development economics. These areas are of mutual interest to both universities and provide a solid foundation for the implementation of joint research and educational initiatives.

The memorandum provides for the development of cooperation in the field of academic mobility of students and academic staff, the preparation of joint projects and publications, participation in EU international grant programmes, as well as the exchange of experience in implementing innovative educational and research practices. The signing of the agreement will contribute to expanding Karazin University’s international ties and further integrating it into the European educational and research area.
