Roman Dehtiarov, a first-year student of the Education and Research Institute "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Travel Business," became a two-time silver medalist at the Ukrainian Youth Chess Championship for athletes under 20 years old (rapid and blitz chess).

The competition took place from November 11–17, 2024, in Dnipro.
