Background: “ValEUs — Research & Education Network on Contestations to EU Foreign Policy” is an international consortium of ten universities and think tanks from Germany, Poland, Turkey, Croatia, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Japan, the USA, and Ukraine. At Karazin University, the project is implemented by the Department of Political Sociology of the School of Sociology.
The project’s mission is to explore how European values are reflected and challenged in EU foreign policy, and to disseminate findings through educational courses, public dialogue, and analytical outputs.
The MOOC has been developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme “Jean Monnet Political Network.” The aim of the research network is to address current challenges facing the European Union and to explore potential counterstrategies.
