Olha Vovk – Laureate of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Award for Young Scientists!

Karazin University sincerely congratulates Olha Ihorivna Vovk, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Deputy Director of the Center for Ukrainian Studies and the P. T. Tronko Karazin Center, on receiving the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Award for Young Scientists in 2024!
This prestigious award was granted for her work titled:
"The International (Re)Integration of Ukrainian Education in the Context of the Decolonization of the Intellectual Space: A Historical and Biographical Dimension (Based on the Example of V. N. Karazin, 1773–1842)."
This is the first time in the history of Karazin University that a representative of the socio-humanitarian field has been recognized with this esteemed award. It is especially symbolic that this work, dedicated to the founder of our university — Vasyl Nazarovych Karazin — has been honored in the year marking the 220th anniversary of our Alma Mater.
We sincerely congratulate Ms. Olha on this outstanding achievement and thank her for her contribution to the development of Ukrainian science and the preservation of historical memory!
