Regional Stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Physics Olympiad Held at Karazin University

On January 23, 2025, the III (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Physics Olympiad for the 2024/2025 academic year in Kharkiv region was held online at the Education and Research Institute "School of Physics and Technology" of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

A total of 187 students from 10 districts of Kharkiv region and the city of Kharkiv, representing secondary education institutions under regional and state administration, participated in this stage of the Olympiad.

The event was organized by Kharkiv Academy of Continuing Education with the traditional support of Karazin University members. The Olympiad jury was chaired by Valerii Lisovskyi, an Honored Educator of Ukraine and Professor, who has many years of experience in this field. The jury included 11 university members and postgraduate students, among them: Zakhar Maizelis, an Honored Teacher of Ukraine and Professor, as well as Associate Professors Andrii Hakh, Volodymyr Olefir, Kostiantyn Sereda, Inna Afanasieva, and others.

On January 31, an appeal process took place, after which the Olympiad winners were announced. Currently, the selection process is underway for participation in the IV (final) stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Physics Olympiad.
