Educational and Methodological Seminar for Guarantors of Educational Programmes

On 5 March 2026, an educational and methodological seminar for guarantors of educational programmes was held at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The event focused on current issues related to the development of the educational process and the assurance of the quality of higher education.

During the seminar, a number of important topics were discussed. In particular, Hanna Panasenko, Associate Professor and expert of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, delivered a presentation entitled “Leadership in Education: The Mission and Tools of a Programme Guarantor.” In her speech, she outlined the modern role of the educational programme guarantor as a leader of the academic team, a moderator of educational changes, and a coordinator of quality assurance processes in education.

In the second presentation, “The Educational Process in the Light of the New Requirements of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Academic Integrity,’” Yevhen Nikolaiev, Deputy Director of the Education and Research Institute “Teachers' Academy,” focused on the key provisions of the new legislation, the specifics of its implementation within the university environment, and practical aspects of ensuring the principles of academic integrity in the educational process.

The seminar served as a platform for professional discussion of current challenges in the field of higher education, exchange of experience, and the development of practical approaches to improving educational programmes at Karazin University. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and discuss further ways to develop the university’s system of quality assurance in education.
