Scientific Seminar on “Adaptation of National Legislation to the acquis communautaire as a Component of the European Integration Process”

On 30 January 2026, the Marin Drinov Centre for Bulgarian and Balkan Studies of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University organized a public discussion on the topic “Adaptation of National Legislation to the acquis communautaire as a Component of the European Integration Process,” which is highly relevant in the context of Ukraine’s further integration into the European Union.

The event was held within the framework of the project “East Ukrainian Centre of European Studies” / Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Programme, Centre of Excellence East Ukrainian Centre of European Studies (EAUCES — ERASMUS-JMO-2024-COE).

The keynote speaker was Oleksii Pronevych, Doctor of Law, Professor at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and a graduate of Karazin University.

The participants included scholars from Kharkiv higher education institutions, representatives of civil society organizations, as well as students. The presentation was followed by a lively discussion, which at times evolved into a debate.
