Scientific Internship of Chemistry Faculty Staff in France

From July 8 to July 24, 2025, staff members of the School of Chemistry — Professors Oleksandr Roshal and Oleksandr Kyrychenko — undertook a scientific internship at the Laboratoire de Chimie de Coordination, a research institute affiliated with Paul Sabatier University (University of Toulouse III) and the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
The visit was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
During the internship, research was conducted on the spectral and fluorescence properties of first- and second-generation fluorescent dendrimers. The structure of the studied compounds and the nature of the absorption and emission bands in their electronic spectra were examined. The obtained data may be applied in future medical and biological research.
Further studies are planned, including continued spectral-fluorescence investigations and molecular dynamics simulations of the structure of selected dendrimers in solution.
Cooperation with leading European scientific institutions within European Union programs, particularly Erasmus+, is a strategic direction of Karazin University’s international activities and contributes to strengthening its position in the global educational and scientific community.
