The International Project "DAAD Ukraine Digital in Times of Crisis 2024

The implementation of the virtual component of the international project "Ukraine Digital in Times of Crisis 2024" has commenced at Karazin University (with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service).

The project has a significant impact on both lecturers and students, offering new educational opportunities, scholarship support for students studying at Karazin University, real academic mobility for lecturers, and much more.

The lecturers for the 2024 project include representatives from various schools:

  • School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business: Olena Mykolenko, Natalia Danko;
  • Karazin Banking Institute: Valeriya Baranova, Irina Denchyk, Anna Chkheailo;
  • School of Economics: Larisa Teshova;
  • School of Sociology: Alina Kalashnikova.

The lecturers offer 7 English-language courses:

  1. International Business in Digital Economy;
  2. Digital Branding;
  3. Organizational Design;
  4. Financial Services for Business;
  5. Critical Global Issues;
  6. Risk Management;
  7. Building Resilience in Organizations.

This spring, 25 students have joined the study of three English-language courses with a scholarship of 600 euros.

Since 2022, the project has been implemented at Karazin University through collaboration with Professor Ewald Mittelstadt from the University of Applied Sciences South Westphalia (Germany) and Professor Claudia Wipke from the Karlsruhe University of Education (Germany).

Since 2022, more than 25 lecturers from Karazin University have participated in the project, over 100 students have become scholarship recipients, receiving a total of 60,000 euros in financial support to continue their studies at the university during the war. Over 350 students have enrolled in the study of 27 courses.
