International Experience for Ukraine's Reconstruction: Karazin University Explores New Partnerships

On April 10, 2025, Karazin University welcomed Philip James Hatch, a U.S. citizen, CEO of a business structure and CEO of ManpowerGroup SEZ in India, as well as the author of Canada’s reskilling strategy that led to the retraining of 4 million workers and an increase in GDP by over $500 billion.
He is also one of the founders of Jagora University in Cameroon and the founder of the Center for Biostatistical Programming in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Mr. Hatch met with the university administration, including Rector Tetyana Kaganovska. He spoke about the process of retraining workers with the goal of further employment in international companies interested in participating in Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction.
During the meeting, Mr. Hatch presented his achievements and offered his assistance in identifying such companies to help rebuild destroyed infrastructure. The discussion also highlighted the topic of alternative energy as a key factor in developing energy independence.
The participants exchanged views on the prospects for future cooperation.
