International Museum Day: the University celebrates
Today, the International Museum Day is celebrated around the world.
Museums preserve the memory and history of the people, the cultural heritage of our ancestors. Their development largely depends on the help and support of the public, because museums and society must work together.
During the Russian-Ukrainian war, museum workers are taking special care to protect and preserve the unique spiritual heritage of the Ukrainian people and monuments of historical and cultural heritage, and are carrying out extremely important scientific, educational and upbringing work.
The staff of the Museum of Archeology, the Museum of Nature, the Mykola Barabashov Museum of Astronomy, and the Museum of History of Karazin University carefully preserve the oldest collections and artifacts. They are also engaged in exhibition, research, and educational activities and receive visitors from all over Ukraine and abroad.
The university museums combine the past, present and future, foster a sense of beauty, respect for folk traditions and love for national art.
We congratulate the museum workers on their holiday! We express our sincere gratitude for their inspiring work and loyalty to the profession, wish them creative energy, successful searches, interesting finds, well-being, health, happiness and unwavering faith in the bright future of Ukraine.
