International Scientific and Practical Conference "Trends in the Development of Pedagogy and Education in the Era of Digital Transformations" (ByteEd 2024)
Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazin puts significant efforts into the development of pedagogy and education, implementing innovative approaches and technologies into the educational process. In the era of digital transformations, the academic activities of the university contribute to the formation of modern teaching methods and the preparation of qualified specialists ready to meet today's challenges.
From April 17 to 19, the Institute of International Education initiated and acted as the main organizer of the First International Scientific and Practical Conference "Trends in the Development of Pedagogy and Education in the Era of Digital Transformations" (ByteEd 2024). The conference was attended by about 300 participants from 12 countries around the world: Ukraine, Great Britain, France, Ireland, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Latvia, Israel, Kazakhstan, and China.
At the beginning of the plenary session, the participants were greeted by Anton Panteleimonov, Vice-Rector of Karazin University, and Yaroslav Kichuk, Rector of Izmail State Humanitarian University. The presentations were delivered by prominent scientists and educators, including Josef Zatko (Slovak Republic), Peter Plavchan (Slovak Republic), Marina Grynyova, Olena Karaman, Nataliia Aristova, Liliia Hrynevych, Jade McGlinn (Great Britain; Washington, USA), Maria Christiani (France), as well as many other local and foreign scholars.
During the session, reports were presented on the mission of a modern teacher in Ukrainian society, the peculiarities of teacher training and educational activities organization in foreign educational institutions, directions of pedagogical research, and digital transformation of education, among other topics.
On April 18, sectional meetings and an author's training session "Prevention of Emotional Burnout: Spring Anti-Stress" by psychologist Inna Osadchenko were held. On April 19, a sectional meeting and a contest of poster presentations by graduate students were organized.
Grateful to the organizers of the conference, Ukrainian and foreign colleagues for their participation and joint efforts in searching for answers that will contribute to the development and transformation of pedagogy and education in the era of digitalization!
