International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current State, Problems, and Prospects of Business Development, Financial-Credit, and Accounting Systems": Summary
Despite the war and shelling, scientific life continues in Kharkiv! On May 17, Ukrainian and international scientists participated in the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current State, Problems, and Prospects of Business Development, Financial-Credit, and Accounting Systems," organized by the Karazin Banking Institute on the occasion of Science Day.
The Conference Proceedings included over 100 papers from scientists representing more than 30 higher education institutions, research institutes, and organizations from various parts of Ukraine.
The conference aimed to discuss scientific and practical issues related to business, financial-credit, and accounting systems. The researchers engaged in friendly discussions on:
- The transition from fiat money to central bank digital currency;
- Forecasting economic indicators using artificial intelligence;
- Greening the financial system as a modern paradigm of sustainable development;
- Monitoring the efficiency of managing the economic security mechanism of business entities;
- Risk management systems in analyzing strategies for building a personal investment portfolio under uncertainty;
- Using data mining methods for vessel selection in optimizing logistics and transport systems;
- Digitalization of the country and its impact on economic development.
The conference began with greetings from the Vice-Rector of Karazin University, Borys Samorodov; Director of the Karazin Banking Institute, Anna Chkheailo; Head of the Kharkiv Territorial Branch, member of the Council of the Federation of Auditors, Accountants, and Financiers of Ukraine's Agro-Industrial Complex, Director of the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, Stanislav Vasylyshyn; and Director of the Ukrainian Association for Management and Business Education Development, Lyudmyla Horokhova. The scientific community was also greeted by Victoria Koch, a research associate at the International Office of the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
Scientists from not only Ukraine but also various institutions worldwide presented their reports at the conference: Professor Jurijs Baltgailis of the Baltic International Academy, Professor Oleksandr Melnychenko of the Finance Department of Gdańsk University of Technology, Senior Research Fellow Nataliia Trushkina of the Research Center for Industrial Problems of Development of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Karina Utenkova of the Department of Banking Business and Financial Technologies at the Karazin Banking Institute, PhD student Serhii Mikulov of the School of Economics at Karazin University, Associate Professor Hanna Makarova of the Department of Information Technology and Mathematical Modeling at the Karazin Banking Institute, and Professor Vitalina Babenko of the Department of Management, Business, and Professional Communications at the Karazin Banking Institute.
Karazin University continues to operate and organize events despite any conditions because science cannot be stopped!
