The International Summer School "Physical Culture and Sport in the Higher Education System"

From September 24th to September 30th, 2023, at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, within the framework of the UNIWERSYTET JUTRA II project (POWR.03.05.00-00-Z303/18), the International Summer School "Physical Culture and Sport in the Higher Education System" took place.

Karazin University was represented at the school by the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Volodymyr Temchenko.

During the course of the school, participants were introduced to the trends in the development of higher education in Poland (including at Adam Mickiewicz University) and the integration of the university into the educational space of the European Union. Participants discussed the organization of physical education for students at Adam Mickiewicz University, student sports competitions, and marketing in high-performance sports using the example of the Polish Volleyball Federation.

Additionally, meetings were organized with Olympic Games participants, a tour of the sports infrastructure of Adam Mickiewicz University, a meeting with the university's rector, and a tour of the central part of Poznań city.
