Students of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University took part in the Summer School on the topic “Modern Tools for Business: Gamification and Product Placement, Communication and Digital Media”, held at CITY College, the European campus of the University of York (Thessaloniki, Greece).
Students attended lectures by Professor Christos Liassides on “Gamification and Product Placement” and Professor Eva Malinaki on “Communication and Digital Media with a Focus on Business Applications.” The event was focused on key strategies for achieving success in the business world. Participants learned how gamification techniques can boost consumer engagement, enhance brand recognition, and build customer loyalty. They also expanded their knowledge of effective strategies in covert advertising. Moreover, students explored how digital media and strategic communication can be used to create effective business solutions and strengthen brand presence in the digital era.

The cultural program of the Summer School included a city tour of Thessaloniki’s landmarks, a guided walking tour, and a visit to the Halkidiki seaside.
All participants received certificates of participation, valuable knowledge, and unforgettable experiences.
The Summer School at CITY College, University of York in Greece, is held within the framework of the Twinning program “Unity Initiative”, which aims to establish partnerships between universities in Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the EU.
