"The Resilience of One is the Resilience of Millions": an event for World Mental Health Day
On October 10, Karazin University held an event in honor of World Mental Health Day.
The topic of mental health is becoming increasingly relevant for Ukrainians today. In the context of war, it is more important than ever for us to take care of all aspects of our health. Living under constant stress, it is essential to know how to help ourselves maintain a proper emotional state.
As part of the event, "The Resilience of One is the Resilience of Millions," participants had the opportunity to learn self-help techniques, try them firsthand, and experience their effectiveness.
Everyone interested could also take informational brochures, measure their blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and receive consultations on a healthy lifestyle. The event was organized with the support of the School of Psychology, Regional coordinator of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program, Associate Professor of the School of Psychology Liliia Zotova, the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action (FSD), the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, and Project Hope.
Remember, mental health is just as important as physical health. Listen to yourself, your emotions, and your feelings. If necessary, do not hesitate to seek help from qualified professionals.
