Rector’s Cup in Futsal: Results Summary

On October 26, 2025, the Rector’s Cup futsal tournament took place.

The 21st tournament brought together four teams: two student teams, one alumni team, and one team of prospective students.

The competition was resumed after a long break, as it had not been held since 2019 due to the pandemic and the full-scale invasion.

In the final match, the student team — featuring Roman Hospodienko, Vladyslav Povolotskyi, Ivan Stepanenko, Illia Teslenko, and Oleksii Tolkach (School of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics and Computer Systems), Oleksandr Sliusaryev (School of History), and Maksym Serhiienko (Education and Research Institute “Institute of Public Administration”) — defeated the alumni team with a score of 4:2.

In the match for third place, the team of prospective students claimed victory.

The tournament was organized by the Department of Basic Military Training, Physical Education and Sports, the football club “Univer-Loko” of the Karazin Sports Center, the Primary Trade Union Organization of Students, Postgraduates and Doctoral Students, and the University Student Council.
