
Karazin University Team Presented Its Project at Nuclear Competitions in Bologna
The admission campaign is in full swing!
Meanwhile, the Karazin University team visited the Brasimone Research Centre of the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) in Bologna, Italy, as part of the Fourth Nuclear European Competition for School Students.
The Karazin University team was represented by Associate Professor of the School of Physics and Technology, Inna Afanasieva, along with two prospective students: Kateryna Chkuaseli and Mariia Pcholkina. A total of 15 teams from different European countries participated in the final stage of the competition. The Karazin team presented their project dedicated to PET-CT technology.
During their visit, the girls attended lectures on the current state of development of next-generation small modular reactors and toured research laboratories, where they learned about the latest studies and developments in the field of small modular reactors cooled by liquid lead.
