International Scientific and Practical Conference for Students, Postgraduates, and Young Scientists “Region–2025: Socio-Geographical Aspects”

On April 25, 2025, the School of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference for Students, Postgraduates, and Young Scientists “Region–2025: Socio-Geographical Aspects.”
Over 70 applications were submitted to the conference from various regions of Ukraine and other countries, including Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Hungary.
More than 50 participants took part in the conference, including representatives from international higher education institutions such as Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Georgia), University of Debrecen (Hungary), and the G. A. Aliyev Institute of Geography (Azerbaijan).
A total of 12 participants delivered presentations addressing pressing issues of socio-economic regional development. The conference served as a platform for active discussion on current challenges facing regional development.
