Kharkiv Student Sports Leagues: Mini-Football Tournament

On May 3–4, 2025, the Kharkiv Student Sports Leagues kicked off with a mini-football tournament held in Kharkiv.

The Karazin University team, coached by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Yurii Petrenko, took 4th place, narrowly missing the bronze in a match against the team from O. M. Beketov Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy.

Team members included Illia Teslenko, Oleksii Tolkach, Yaroslav Soloha, Valerii Liubymyi (School of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics and Computer Systems), Kostiantyn Zhukov (Medical School), Eduard Rohachov (School of Physics), and Artem Dotsenko (School of Sociology).

We sincerely thank our players for their dedication to sports, even under the difficult conditions of war.

Note: The Kharkiv Student Sports Leagues also include competitions in basketball, beach volleyball, table tennis, and e-sports. The tournaments are organized by the Department of Family, Youth, and Sports, specifically the Sports Management and Marketing Office.
