Kharkiv International Skovorodyniv Readings "Modern Science, Education, Enlightenment: Challenges and Perspectives"

On December 22, 2024, the traditional XXXII Kharkiv International Skovorodyniv Readings titled "Modern Science, Education, Enlightenment: Challenges and Perspectives" took place.

The event was organized by the H. S. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the H. S. Skovoroda National Literary and Memorial Museum, and V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Welcoming remarks were delivered to the participants of the readings by Oleksandr Holovko, Vice-Rector of Karazin University; Olha Bezpalova, Director of the Department of Science and Education of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration; Anatolii Yermolenko, Director of the H. S. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Nataliia Mytsai, Director of the H. S. Skovoroda National Literary and Memorial Museum; and Ivan Karpenko, Dean of the School of Philosophy at Karazin University.

Scholars from over 30 higher education institutions, scientific, and cultural organizations discussed current issues within the thematic framework of the readings: H. S. Skovoroda on education and learning; paradigmatic shifts in contemporary philosophical, cultural, and social-humanitarian research; innovations in education and modern technologies (educational processes and ChatGPT); enlightenment activities: current challenges, opportunities, factors, and means; science, education, and enlightenment in the context of war.
