From July 16 to 18, the Netherlands Business Academy hosted a training for trainers as part of the Erasmus+ virtual exchange project "Art of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (Mediation) / ArtNoConflict".

Karazin University was represented by Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Administration, Olena Parkhomenko, and Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines, Viktor Savchenko. The training was conducted by experienced trainers from the Netherlands and Lithuania: Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy Jan van Zwieten, and practicing mediators Gea van Klompenberg, Agne Tvaronaviciene, and Indre Korsakoviene.

The training program was very intensive, featuring both theoretical material on conflict management and practical sessions.

During the practical sessions, participants from Ukraine, Lithuania, Georgia, and the Netherlands actively exchanged experiences and shared their developments in the formation of soft skills, which are fundamental abilities in the field of mediation and conflict resolution.

The acquired knowledge and skills will serve as the foundation for the further implementation of the ArtNoConflict project, which aims to provide young people with access to a new level of international, intercultural, and inclusive education through the introduction of virtual exchanges in the field of negotiation and mediation in the EU countries, Georgia, and Ukraine. This initiative will help strengthen democracy, cultural diversity, and promote objective problem-solving by adopting the best European practices.
