As part of the national team, Karazin student successfully started the qualifying tournament for the World Futsal Championship

The national team of Ukraine, consisting of three students of the futsal section of Karazin University: Danyil Abakshin (faculty of radiophysics, biomedical electronics and computer systems), Yaroslav Lebid and Serhiy Malyshko (faculty of economics), successfully started the qualifying tournament for the 2024 World Cup from futsal.

On October 7 and 11 in Latvia, the Ukrainians defeated the teams of Kosovo (3:1) and the Netherlands (4:2). From Latvia, they bring not only 6 points, but also a small contribution to the future victory of Ukraine.

The players and coaches of the national men's team of Ukraine decided to use their bonuses for victories in the matches of the main round of the European qualification for the 2024 World Cup over Kosovo and the Netherlands to purchase an SUV for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Soon the car will be transferred to one of the military units, which is currently on the front line.
