Karazinites Join the International Scientific Conference Dedicated to the 190th Anniversary of Oleksandr Potebnia’s Birth

On October 23–24, 2025, Karazin University hosted the International Scientific Conference dedicated to the 190th anniversary of Oleksandr Potebnia’s birth.

The conference was organized by the School of Philology, the Educationa and Research Institute of Philosophy, Cultural Studies, and Political Science, the Central Scientific Library of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and Palacký University Olomouc (Czech Republic).

The event brought together researchers from Ukraine, Poland, Switzerland, and France.

During the scientific discussions, participants explored Oleksandr Potebnia’s philological legacy and the development of his ideas in modern linguistics and literary studies.
