Karazin University Representatives Participate in the European Futsal Qualifications for the 2024 World Championship

On September 15, the national football team of Ukraine began the elite round of European qualification for the 2024 World Cup with a victorious match against the Belgian team, winning 10-2.

Danil Abakshin, a graduate of the School of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics, and Computer Systems, scored a hat-trick in this match. In the next match, which took place on September 20 and did not feature representatives from Karazin University, Ukraine unfortunately lost to the Polish team 2-3.

On October 6 and 11, the Ukrainian national team will play against the Serbian team, which is currently the leader of Group B. Two representatives from our university, Danil Abakshin and Yaroslav Lebid, both graduates of the School of Economics, have been called up for these matches. 

We wish them good play and victory! Thanks to the Ukrainian national team, we are getting closer to victory together!
