Karazin Strengthens Cooperation with Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Poland)

A delegation from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University held productive negotiations in Lublin on building cooperation with Vice-Rector for Development and Collaboration with the Economic Sector, Professor Zbigniew Pastuszak, and Director of the European Center at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Professor Sylvia Kucharyuk.
During the meeting, ways to deepen cooperation and prospects for the development of the “International Law and European Union Law” program were discussed. This program is implemented in a double degree format in collaboration with the University of Lorraine in Nancy, France. The discussion also covered Karazin University’s activities as a partner of the European Center at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. Our university was officially admitted as a member of the Center’s Program Council on January 21, 2025, alongside Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University (Vinnytsia), Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University, and the Executive Committee of Vinnytsia city.
Potential areas of further inter-university cooperation in physics, economics, philology, and pedagogy were also considered. Productive talks were held regarding the activation of joint project activities in scientific and educational fields.
Karazin University was represented at the meeting by Vitalii Dyachek, Dean of the Faculty of Economics; Maryna Vasylieva, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy, Methods and Education Management, Deputy Director of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy”; and Roman Nesterenko, Deputy Head of the International Relations Office.
