Karazin University Stands in Solidarity with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University

The Russian missile strike on July 7, which damaged several buildings of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, is yet another act of cynical terror targeting peaceful life and education in Ukraine.

Karazin University expresses its solidarity with our colleagues and firmly condemns the aggressor’s crimes against the Ukrainian academic community. Such actions are not only attacks on infrastructure — they are assaults on the country’s future, on our shared space of knowledge, freedom, and humanism.

Despite everything, Ukrainian universities will endure. The strength of education lies in unity, resilience, and truth.
