Karazin University extends greetings on Archaeologist’s Day

15 august 2025 year

Every year on August 15, Ukraine celebrates Archaeologist’s Day — the professional holiday of those who reveal to humanity the secrets of past eras, preserve invaluable monuments of material culture, and deepen our understanding of history.

A significant role in training highly qualified archaeologists belongs to the School of History at Karazin University. Here, students acquire thorough theoretical knowledge and practical experience, take part in field expeditions and scientific research. An important scientific and educational platform is the Museum of Archaeology of Karazin University — a unique center that houses the results of many years of work by lecturers, students, and researchers, including finds from excavations conducted in various regions of Ukraine.

Thanks to your dedication, perseverance, and professionalism, evidence of past civilizations is preserved, and the younger generation has the opportunity to discover its roots and cultural origins.

We sincerely wish you new discoveries, successful expeditions, inspiration, and good health! May your work continue to serve the preservation and enrichment of Ukraine’s historical heritage.
