Karazin University Participated in a Meeting of Academic Communities of Austria and Ukraine

On April 16, at Uzhhorod National University, rectors of higher education institutions discussed the prospects for cooperation in education between Ukraine and Austria. Rector Tetyana Kaganovska represented Karazin University on the international stage.

The event was attended by representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Ukraine, Austria's Agency for Education and Internationalisation, the Federal Ministry of Education, Science, and Research of the Republic of Austria, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, as well as rectors of higher education institutions from Austria and Ukraine.

Universities should continue to prepare competent specialists needed for the country's reconstruction, and Austrian colleagues are ready to contribute to this! Therefore, the meeting addressed several questions, which were discussed by working groups. These included the development of education in Ukrainian higher education institutions, improving the teaching process, and the importance of universities in the reconstruction of Ukraine.

The next meeting will take place in Vienna. We thank our Ukrainian and Austrian colleagues for fruitful cooperation and in-depth discussions.
