Karazin University Celebrates Master's Graduates with a Solemn Ceremony

A solemn graduation ceremony for Master’s students took place at Karazin University. The event marked the completion of an important stage in the academic journey of young professionals who, despite the difficult wartime conditions, have become an example of resilience, the indomitability of education, and the dignity of Ukraine’s academic community.

In her welcoming speech, the Rector of the University, Tetyana Kaganovska, emphasized the significance of this moment both for each graduate personally and for the entire university community:
"Today is not only the result of years of hard work but also a testament to the resilience of spirit, the power of knowledge, and the unity of our academic family."

Greetings were also delivered by the Dean of the School of Medicine, Tetyana Liadova; the Head of the University Student Council, Sofiia Panasiuk; and the Head of the Trade Union of Students, Postgraduates, and Doctoral Students, Oleksandr Peliukh. In their addresses, they expressed gratitude to the graduates for their active involvement in university life, their academic diligence, civic responsibility, and commitment to the values of the university.

During the ceremony, the top master’s graduates of the educational and research programs from four faculties and educational-scientific institutes were honored. For their outstanding achievements in academics, scientific and research activities, community engagement, and efforts in preserving and enhancing the traditions of Karazin University, the following students received awards:

  • Anna Zakharova, graduate of the School of Medicine;

  • Semen Kononenko, graduate of the School of Physics;

  • Mykyta Prud, graduate of the School of Chemistry;

  • John Sundarsingh Josephine Eliot, graduate of the School of Medicine;

  • Mykyta Moskvitin, graduate of the Educational and Research Institute "School of Physics and Technology".

On behalf of the graduates, John Sundarsingh Josephine Eliot and Mykyta Moskvitin addressed the audience. They expressed their gratitude to the teaching staff, administration, and the entire university community for their support, knowledge, and the opportunity to grow even under such challenging circumstances.

The musical accompaniment of the event was provided by the university orchestra "Karazin Orchestra" (artistic director — Tetiana Bohatyriova) and the academic choir "Ad libitum" under the direction of Kseniia Pidopryhora, who created an atmosphere of solemnity and inspiration.

Despite all the challenges of the present time, Karazin University continues to confidently fulfill its mission — to educate highly qualified professionals, scientists, and leaders capable of developing and shaping Ukraine’s future.
