Karazin University is in THE World University Rankings 2024
On September 27, 2023, the World University Rankings 2024 by the British rating agency Times Higher Education were published. If last year's ranking included 1799 higher education institutions from 104 countries, this year the number increased to 1904 universities from 108 countries. The United States had the highest representation in the ranking.
The ranking evaluates higher education institutions based on the following criteria:
- Teaching: The learning environment.
- Research: Scale, income, and reputation of the research environment.
- Quality of Research: The impact of research.
- Industry Engagement: Knowledge transfer.
- International Perspective: Foreign staff, students, and research collaboration.
For the eighth consecutive year, the University of Oxford claimed the top spot in the World University Rankings. Stanford University secured the second position, while the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) ranked the third.
Karazin Kharkiv National University maintained its position in the World University Rankings 2024 within the range of 1201-1500 globally. In total, 14 Ukrainian universities made it into the ranking. Additionally, 27 Ukrainian higher education institutions provided their information but did not make it into the ranking and received the "reporter" status.
