Karazin University is Featured in the Subject Rankings of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2025

On January 22, 2025, the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2025 were published. These rankings are based on 18 indicators, which are components of 5 key metrics of higher education. They assess the quality of research, its connection to industry, and the quality of teaching. All metrics are adjusted to account for the specific features of individual disciplines.

According to the evaluation results, Karazin University was included in five subject rankings:

• Business and Economics: 801+ globally;
• Computer Science: 1001+ globally;
• Medicine and Health: 1001+ globally;
• Social Sciences: 1001+ globally;
• Physical Sciences: 1001+ globally.

Last year, the university was only featured in the subject rankings for Computer Science and Physical Sciences. This year, Karazin University researchers succeeded in entering three additional subject rankings.
