On April 1, a significant event took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine— the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the MFA and V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The document was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha and Rector of Karazin University Tetyana Kaganovska.

The memorandum opens new opportunities for students and graduates of the university, allowing them to participate in internships and work in diplomatic structures, as well as expanding the involvement of diplomats in the university's educational process. This is an important step in the development of international cooperation and the integration of students into the global diplomatic community.

"This is yet another confirmation that even during wartime, we remain the intellectual heart of the country, a place where future leaders are born. This is not just a document. It is faith in youth, in knowledge, in the power of Ukrainian diplomacy. It is a step towards our shared goal: to train a new generation of professional diplomats who will proudly represent Ukraine on the world stage and implement its foreign policy," stated Rector Tetyana Kaganovska.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha emphasized that this memorandum will facilitate the involvement of Karazin University students in the diplomatic sector and promote active exchange of experience between scholars and MFA representatives.

V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University is one of the oldest and most prestigious higher education institutions in Eastern Europe. It has educated multiple generations of scholars, including three Nobel Prize laureates, and continues to play a leading role in shaping Ukraine’s future leaders. Today, the university actively develops international cooperation, comprising 26 schools and education and research institutes, over 16,000 students, and established partnerships with 22 foreign institutions.

The signing of the memorandum is yet another testament to the fact that, even in times of challenges and change, Karazin University remains the intellectual heart of the country, laying the foundation for Ukraine’s successful future in international diplomacy.
