V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University has signed an agreement with the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) and joined the Ukrainian-Estonian project “Integration of Entrepreneurship Education into the Vocational Education System of Ukraine.”

At Karazin University, the project will run until November 30, 2026. It provides for the development and implementation of a microqualification program titled “Entrepreneurship Pedagogy,” based on established pedagogical practices and structures, with Estonia’s “Edu ja Tegu” model serving as an example.

In addition to Karazin University, the development and implementation of this microqualification program will involve Ivan Franko Zhytomyr State University, Tallinn University, and the Tallinn School of Economics.

The Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy” and its structural divisions — including the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies and the Department of Marketing and Trade Entrepreneurship — will serve as the base for project implementation at Karazin University.

The project also includes research on the integration of entrepreneurship education into Ukraine’s vocational education system, as well as monitoring and piloting of the “Edu ja Tegu” program. Master’s students will be involved in the research, and the best-performing students will be awarded scholarships under the project.

It is important to note that the project focuses not only on the development of practical entrepreneurial skills but also on cultivating entrepreneurial competence — a combination of knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for implementing value-creating ideas and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset in learners.
