We’re excited to share more great news!

Karazin University has just received a substantial philanthropic grant to strengthen collaboration between the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG — Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Department) and the School of Physics and Technology of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in the field of nuclear medicine.

This major support will allow us to:

  • Install a high-quality preclinical PET/SPECT/CT scanner at Karazin University — a significant boost to our hands-on research capabilities;

  • Launch a dedicated training program for nearly 20 Karazin researchers and students, who will join training sessions at UMCG to gain practical experience in isotope production, radiodetection, and preclinical imaging.

This is not only a step forward in the development of nuclear medicine, but also a testament to the power of international collaboration and academic solidarity.
Even more initiatives are on the horizon — stay tuned!
