Karazin University held a scientific and practical seminar for directors of educational institutions in Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv

On May 30, V. N. Karazin University held a scientific and practical seminar "On the main directions of cooperation between V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and educational institutions in Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv in various spheres of educational activity" for directors of basic and complete general secondary education, out-of-school and vocational education of Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv city council.

The seminar was attended by 29 heads of the Department of Education, methodological service, educational institutions of Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv and 25 deans, deputy deans of all schools, directors of all educational and research institutes, the Center for Postgraduate Education, the Central Scientific Library, and the Center for Pre-University Education of Karazin University.

Acting Rector of Karazin University Oleksandr Holovko welcomed the participants, familiarized them with the peculiarities of cooperation with educational institutions of Slobidskyi district in the field of postgraduate and non-formal education during 2016-2023, revealed the specifics of the university's admission campaign for 2023, and invited the present directors to the Open Day on June 10, 2023.

The participants of the seminar observed a minute of silence in memory of the alumni and professors of the University who have died defending Ukraine since 2014.

During the seminar, Karazin University representatives revealed to the participants the specifics of the educational and scientific activities of the structures they head, invited potential applicants for admission to the relevant specialties, provided them with various information booklets, prospectuses, business cards, and presentation materials.

They exchanged views and suggestions on current educational challenges, including staffing of gymnasiums and lyceums in Sloboda district.

Oleksandr Holovko and Tetyana Hainutdinova, Chief Specialist of the Education Department of the Slobidskyi District Administration, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the Education Department of the Slobidskyi District Administration of the Kharkiv City Council to cooperate in research, educational, methodological, organizational, cultural, educational and other activities.

Acting Rector of the University Oleksandr Holovko and Director of the Center for Postgraduate Education Mykhailo Tatarinov provided the participants with certificates of advanced training within the framework of the accumulative system in postgraduate and lifelong education.
