For the second year in a row, Karazin University took an active part in the Ukrainian Quality Assurance Forum / UQAF–2025, which this year was held on September 17–18 by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the State Service for Education Quality of Ukraine, as well as other domestic and international partners, including representatives of the most authoritative higher education quality assurance institutions in Europe and worldwide.

This powerful, substantial, and result-oriented event took place at the hospitable Lutsk National Technical University.

The forum brought together Members of Parliament of Ukraine, representatives of executive authorities, the academic community, and employers. During in-depth panel discussions covering all key aspects of ensuring and improving the quality of higher education in Ukraine and aligning it with the requirements of the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ESG), participants constructively discussed issues such as:

  • best practices in higher education quality assurance;

  • academic integrity;

  • improvement of educational programs and their practical orientation;

  • synergy between the state, employers, and universities.

Karazin University presented its best practice in the panel block “Quality Assurance — from HEIs to Educational Programs” with the topic “Quality Assurance of Chemical Education at Karazin University: Research Intensity, Stakeholder Engagement, International Cooperation.”  The presentation attracted significant interest among UQAF–2025 participants and was recognized with a certificate from the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA).

The outcomes of the Forum will be disseminated within the educational ecosystem of Karazin University.

We thank the organizers and are already looking forward to the next Forum UQAF–2026!
