Karazin University Among Participants of the International DEFEP Conference

On October 16, 2025, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Distance Education for Future: DEFEP Experience and Sustainable Development” took place at Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University. The event was organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE DEFEP Project.

Karazin University was represented by:

• Borys Samorodov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs;

• Anna Chkheailo, Director of the Karazin Banking Institute;

• Valeriia Kochorba, Deputy Director of the Karazin Banking Institute;

• Tetiana Chelombitko, Director of the Confucius Institute.

During the conference, participants discussed the implementation of best practices in distance learning, innovative approaches to ensuring the quality of online education, and the prospects for the sustainable development of digital education in Ukraine.

The event served as a platform for sharing experiences among DEFEP project partner universities and for identifying directions for the future development of education.
