Karazin University at "MetroSchool": Meeting with Schoolchildren
The "MetroSchool" hosted career guidance events for high school students from all districts of Kharkiv. Each school and institute prepared presentation exhibitions for 10th and 11th graders from the city.
Traditionally, Karazin University holds several Open Days and career guidance events to allow schoolchildren to learn more about potential specialties and professions.
This time, during school holidays, meetings were held with children at "MetroSchool" - a safe place where young Kharkiv residents study.
The realities of the time require changing locations for safety. However, the desire to share knowledge, learn, and teach future professionals remains unchanged!
The exhibition lasted for 3 hours, during which representatives of schools and institutes had time to talk about the advantages of studying at the university and the features of educational programs. They also demonstrated experiments, scientific devices, and long-term achievements. Each student had the opportunity to communicate with the Student Council, students, teachers, deans of schools, and institute directors.
In total, about 400 high school students joined the event. Representatives of the public relations center managed to talk to some students.

Meet Eleanor, who is 16 years old. She has many options for her future career. She already holds a diploma from an art school.

And here's Andrew, also 16. He needs more time to choose between architecture and design. But it only takes him 40 seconds to solve a Rubik's Cube.

Sophia is 15. She's interested in international relations and politics. Not surprisingly, since Sophia has been traveling the world since childhood and gradually lives in different countries.

In this photo, friends Ksenia and Lisa. Ksenia loves iced latte and wants to become a psychologist, while Lisa is part of the Olympic team and dreams of a career in marketing.
We're happy to see the smiling faces of children, even from behind cover. And it's equally joyful to see the enthusiasm in the eyes of our teachers and researchers who have the opportunity to share their knowledge.
We are confident that soon we will have no less pleasant meetings with future Karazin students!
