Karazin University is one of the fundamental centers of intellectual property in Ukraine. The university successfully fulfills its educational, scientific, and enlightening mission, expanding the horizons of its activities and creating new opportunities for learning not only for students but also for schoolchildren.

Engaging school students in science is a crucial strategic goal for the university, as it has a significant impact on the development and formation of the younger generation and the future of our country.

The university's postgraduate education center, in collaboration with schools and educational-scientific institutes, continues the work of the educational-scientific cluster "Karazin University - for students of the 'MetroSchools' educational institutions in Kharkiv." As part of this initiative, university experts conducted sessions for students of grades 9-11 in municipal institutions such as "Kharkiv Lyceum No. 46 of the Kharkiv City Council" and "Kharkiv Lyceum No. 68 of the Kharkiv City Council" and others.

Georgiy Bondarenko, a lecturer at the Institute of Botany of the School of Biology, introduced students to the world of plants and fungi, emphasizing their role in saving the world. Under digital microscopes, students observed representatives of plants and animals, aided by Sergei Sidorovsky, an engineer at the Institute of Animal Zoology of the School of Biology.

The immersion of students in the world of physical science began with the director of the Institute of Physics and School of Technology, Philip Kuznetsov. Associate Professor of Applied Physics and Plasma Physics at the Institute of Physics and Technology, Inna Afanasyeva, told students about the 10 most outstanding experiments that changed the world, according to the New York Times.

With genuine interest, students participated in the "Magical World of Electromagnetism" experiment led by Senior Lecturer Alexander Hapon, of the Institute of Applied Physics and Plasma Physics.

The conclusion of the activities included a reflective session with high school students led by the director of the postgraduate education center, Mykhailo Tatarinov. The students expressed gratitude and satisfaction for participating in the cluster, highlighting the usefulness of the knowledge gained in preparing for the National Mathematical Tournament (NMT).

This is one of the many initiatives that Karazin University implements in its work with school students, and we do not stop there! Keep your hand on the pulse and join our collaboration.
